Many Events at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston

May 27th, 2016

The 2016 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) was held from May 2-5 in Houston, Texas, USA. The OTC is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.

Bolloré Logistics Houston held the traditional OTC events during the conference week, hosting their annual client luncheon and cocktail party on May 4th and May 5th at the Westin Galleria & Westin Oaks. This was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our Group’s global capabilities, strengths in the Oil and Gas industry, as well as promoting Bolloré Logistics' rebranding worldwide as a leading 3PL provider. More than 300 customers and potential clients attended the events, making this a successful week for the organization.

Luncheon Topics discussed this year were: Global Trade Compliance as well as Congo & Cabinda corridor Logistics Challenges. Three main players in the industry (Anadarko, McDermott and FMC) participated in the event as our panel of presenters. The Congo topic was presented by Katelijne Verschaeren from Bolloré Logistics Congo. Bolloré Logistics’ Houston office also hosted a variety of internal workshop sessions during OTC week for the great benefit of our staff, including Thomas Duplan (CEO USA), and our guests from overseas: Katelijne Verschaeren (Congo), Philippe Lortal (CEO Middle East), Shane Edwards (Canada) and Philippe Lescuras (CEO Colombia).
