Asia-Pacific Entities Renew their Sedex and SMETA Ethical Compliances

October 26th, 2016

Bolloré Logistics is delighted to announce that several of its entities in Asia-Pacific have once again successfully renewed their Sedex Member Ethical Trading Audit (SMETA) certificates. These certificates will be valid for three more years and will be due for another recertification from the date of issue.

This also indicates that Bolloré Logistics has a well-developed Human Resource policy in place, well-constructed ethical business rules and regulations procedures, good Health and Safety, Hygiene and environmental practices and most importantly, a committed management to ensure that all aspects are strictly adhered.

In respect to this achievement, we have complied with our internal policies and we were also able to demonstrate and produce the evidence of compliances to our valued customers from any part of the world. From 2015 to 2016, the following countries have renewed their certificates:

    1. Bolloré Logistics Australia – Arndell Park, Sydney
    2. Bolloré Logistics China –  Shanghai
    3. Bolloré Logistics Korea – Osan
    4. Bolloré Logistics Singapore – Tanjong Pagar

To this day, Bolloré Logistics counts 11 entities registered with Sedex, and 9 out of 11 entities have already fulfilled this requirement. Other entities in compliance include: Bolloré Logistics Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Bolloré Logistics Malaysia and Bolloré Logistics Thailand are presently working hard to achieve the certificate in due course.
