A Successful 2016 Africa Singapore Business Forum

September 27th, 2016

Bolloré Logistics was proud to participate at the Africa Singapore Business Forum (ASBF) which was held in Singapore from August 24-25, 2016. Our presence at this event was successful in many ways.

Mr. Tony Stenning, Regional Director East and Southern Africa at Bolloré Transport & Logistics, had the opportunity to discuss one of the five panels at the event: "Made in Africa" - Prospects for Manufacturing in Africa, allowing him to put forth the Group’s capabilities and strengths in Africa.

Following the event, Mr. Tony Stenning who participated at the Panel discussion related to Manufacturing in Africa highlighted: “This forum was a great opportunity for a company like ours, deep rooted in Africa, to share views with Asian investors and industrial players about the opportunities of business development in the continent, in various sectors such as soft commodities, healthcare and consumer goods, where Asian players have a lot to offer.” Mr. Stenning also added that “it was a chance to elaborate further on the operational challenges these companies face in Africa and the key success factors to leverage on in order to grow business in their selected markets.”

This forum brought together close to 2,000 business and government leaders from 30 countries of Asia-Pacific to develop opportunities and partnerships between these two dynamic continents.

The ASBF 2016 fruitfully managed to address critical issues and identify opportunities for the strategic growth of both continents throughout presentations and panel discussions from industry experts.
