October 18th, 2017

On October 17th, Bolloré Logistics attended the 3PL Summit & Chief Supply chain Officer Forum organized by Eye for Transport (eft) in Venlo (Netherlands) as speaker, showcasing its Innovation case study.

This presentation detailed the co-innovation project between Bolloré Logistics and LVMH, one of the world's leading luxury products group for the automated warehouse hub in Singapore.

Jean-Yves GRAS, Vice-President Logistics and Supply Chain Director started the presentation, introducing Bolloré Logistics and then focusing on its innovation strategy through in-house innovation center "B. Lab" which is creating value to the wider organization.

Then, he talked about predictive analytics and Bolloré Logistics' Logistics Platform strategy within the network before introducing Nathalie LEGER, LVMH Hub Manager at Bolloré Logistics in Singapore.

Nathalie started her presentation highlighting the long partnership between LVMH - which is growing fast in Asia Pacific - and Bolloré Logistics wishing to accompany them in their growth and thus in their transformation plan to become E-commerce ready.

Supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the new 20,000 square meter automation facility is built with an investment of S$10 million between Bolloré Logistics and LVMH as part of a long-term partnership to significantly drive productivity and increase space efficiency.

This conference has been a good opportunity for Bolloré Logistics to showcase its logistics expertise through the illustration of this concrete case, with key learnings & dos and don'ts.
