Mr. Benoit Mbelo, Oil & Gas Manager at Bolloré Logistics Congo and Ms. Kate Verschaeren, Commercial Manager for Bolloré Logistics Congo, have been highly commended by Total E&P Congo for the drive, involvement and the quality of services provided by their teams, who have made a significant contribution to successfully setting up the Tension-Leg Platform (TLP) and the Floating Production Unit (FPU) Likouf at the Moho Nord site.
"Moho Nord is the largest oil project ever carried out in Congo. A showcase for the Group's deep offshore operational excellence, this project strengthens our position as leader in Africa," stated Mr. Arnaud Breuillac, President, Exploration-Production at Total.
In consideration of its outstanding commitment, Bolloré Logistics Congo received a trophy in the shape of a miniature floating production unit. It is an exact replica of the one transported from Ulsan in South Korea to the Congolese territorial waters, via Gabon.
Mr. Mbelo, responsible for the coordination of this operation, speaks with great pride and appreciation. "It is always greatly satisfying when one of our clients highlights our expertise. This validates the attention that, for several years, has been paid to the quality of our services and which enables the success of such operations. This reward is the result of teamwork. We have sought to provide the best of our expertise, in compliance with the standards and regulations governing this type of operation, to the satisfaction of our contractors."
