Bolloré Logistics participated in the 2nd Edition of Lisanga

November 15th, 2019

From 4 to 11 October, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Crafts of Pointe Noire (CCIAM) organized the second edition of the international business convention, known as “Lisanga”.

"Lisanga" is a name derived from Lingala which means union or gathering. Bolloré Logistics in Congo was present at the event.

The objective of the CCIAM is to bring together companies from Africa in order to create market opportunities, federate a network of experts and professionals, identify regional and international opportunities, and support entrepreneurs. This year, this major economic event was linked to the Belgian economic mission in Congo and the 5th edition of the Entrepreneurship Forum under the theme "How to promote the made in Congo in the agri-food sector".

At the forefront of our participation, the commercial management of Bolloré Logistics was able to present and promote our expertise during B-to-B meetings with various companies and potential local and Belgian customers. In the margins of the Lisanga forum, a meeting and visit to the container terminal was organized for the Africa Director of the Port of Antwerp with the General Manager of Congo Terminal, as well as the Regional Director and the Commercial Director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics.

A close collaboration was established between the teams of Bolloré Logistics Congo and those of Belgium. The latter received a set of information in order to take over from the Belgian companies met in Congo. The clients met by the teams of Bolloré Logistics were delighted with this synergy between the various entities at local and international level.
