Bolloré Logistics India Successfully Completes Project Shipment at Batangas Port

October 7th, 2019

Bolloré Logistics India recently handled a project shipment for its client, an engineering company involved in energy and environment.

The shipment was a super Over Dimensional Consignment (ODC) package with a length of 9.06 meters, a width of 5.80 meters and a height of 6.20 meters, for a total weight of 31.787 MT along with accessories. The Bolloré Logistics team booked the break bulk vessel on part charter basis from Kandla port to Bauan, Batangas, in the Philippines.

Lots of planning and discussions took place among all stakeholders to meet the timelines and deliver the cargo at the loading port. The challenge was to transport the cargo in the delivery commitment of 24 hours, which our client managed very well and ensured the safe and timely delivery at Kandla port.

Bolloré Logistics India closely monitored and coordinated the transport movement alongside the client and their sub-contractor. The loading operation was also coordinated on the vessel under the supervision of the 3rd party marine surveyor. It was the complete team effort and coordination among all stakeholders which brought this new successful shipment managed by Bolloré Logistics India's Industrial Projects team.

Bolloré Logistics has a strong set-up in India, especially under the Projects verticals and we provide tailor-made solutions to our client on an end-to-end basis.
