Lagardère, client of Bolloré Logistics, opens its Duty Free outlet in Libreville airport in Gabon

July 18th, 2019

On the 7th of May 2019, Bolloré Logistics’ Gabonese teams attended the inauguration of the new Duty Free outlet of Lagardère at Léon Mba International airport in Libreville (Gabon).

The event took place in presence of Gabonese Prime Minister Julien NKOGHE BEKALE and Minister of Transport and Logistics Justin NDOUDANGOYE.

Bolloré Logistics Gabon is particularly proud of having contributed to the implantation of this new shopping area, by ensuring air and sea transportation of all the sales goods towards the Relay and Duty Free outlets of Libreville.

In addition to the handling of the end-to-end import of the whole stocks of cosmetics, food products, leather goods, tobacco and alcohol goods, as well as books and press on behalf of Lagardère, the local teams also assisted their client in different administrative formalities related to freight transportation, cargo storage and implementation of its bonded warehouse.

Commenting the success of the operations, Sophie Chartriot, Head of Operations at Libreville airport in Gabon for Lagardère, stated: “Mission accomplished! We implemented and supplied our airport shops in record time thanks to our collaboration with all of Bolloré Logistics’ teams. We managed to open our two first outlets: Duty-free and Relay within the specified deadline. Congratulations to all the teams of Bolloré Logistics which contributed to this success”.
