Bolloré Logistics Singapore and an airline industry leader strengthened their partnership with the inauguration of a new receipt store.
Bolloré Logistics Singapore, together with an airline industry leader in Singapore, reaffirmed their strong partnership ties with the inauguration of a receipt store on 22nd November 2018.
Since 2010, Bolloré Logistics has been a solution provider to the airline leader’s logistics and warehousing matters. The opening of a new receipt store is a rejuvenation of business ties and an opportunity for discussions on further collaborations.
The receipt store will handle the goods receipt and quality inspection of new, serviceable, or repaired items of behalf of the airline company before they are transferred to their main warehouse for storage.
As part of the Bolloré Logistics’ continuous improvement program, current state processes were analyzed and refined to increase productivity and efficiency. The layout of the store was reconfigured and various new innovations were introduced.
The new operation model delivered significant results - the handling time per pallet was reduced up to 76%, while the storage capacity increased up to 360%. A re-organization of teams also brought along improved staff productivity and visual management of the store.
With the opening of this new receipt store, Bolloré Logistics seals its position as one of the logistics market leader in Singapore’s Aerospace industry.
