Bolloré Logistics launches its CSR program “Powering Sustainable Logistics”

October 15th, 2018

The world that is taking shape calls for greater corporate responsibility. The primary environmental challenge faced by the transport and logistics sector, an emitter of greenhouse gases, is climate change and pollution. As a global supply chain player, our role is to assist our clients by offering them high-performance yet environmentally friendly transport and logistics solutions.

Driven by our core values, our corporate and social responsibility also leads us to place ethics, social issues and the development of the regions in which we operate at the heart of our commitments. By integrating the CSR issues of each individual link of a responsible supply chain into our daily operations, we are able to contribute more sustainable consumption alongside our clients.

It is within this context that we are launching the “Powering Sustainable Logistics” program. Structured around 4 pillars and 11 commitments and supported by a broad action plan, this program sees us embark on a journey to achieve a set of target figures by 2025, with a first step in 2020. The integration of this program into both our operations and commercial offering allows Bolloré Logistics to become a part of a global progress and performance approach, cemented by the publication of an initial progress report at the end of 2018.

Deployed on an international scale, this program aims to boost the environmental and societal value of Bolloré Logistics throughout the supply chain as a whole. As a local development driver in more than 100 countries, Bolloré Logistics also strives to assist its clients in achieving sustainable international growth and to underline its committed role in supporting sustainable world trade.
