Last August, Bolloré Logistics India, in collaboration with its customer, a global specialist in energy management and automation, immediately stepped in with resources to provide on-ground relief and rehabilitation to assist people and local authorities affected by the dramatic flood which occurred in the Kerala region, in India.

Bolloré Logistics contributed to the distribution of Aid & Hygiene kits to the people of Kerala, in order support families in their transition from emergency to recovery and reconstruction.

The Kerala deluge has been touted as the worst disaster to hit the state in a century.

Latest estimation stated that around 70 percent of Kerala’s populations have been impacted by the floods. According to recent records around one million people were severely affected, as many individuals have been forced to leave their homes and take refuge in temporary accommodations such as evacuation centers, relief camps or makeshift shelters.

Commenting on the situation, Sanjay Goel, CEO of Bollore Logistics, South Asia said, “We salute the spirit of the people of Kerala for their resilience, courage and sheer determination as they face one of the most daunting times. The immediate relief has been mobilized and we shall continue to contribute and always lend our hand in hour of need”.
