For the 8th consecutive year, Bolloré Logistics held the high-status position as Platinum Sponsor at the annual Airline Purchasing & Maintenance Exhibition 2018. The event which started on the 29th of May and lasted until 31st of May, gathered the entire airline supply chain, with over 200 industry suppliers from over 69 countries displaying their products and services to over 3,000 aviation professionals.
The Bolloré Logistics VIP lounge was positioned in the heart of the London Olympia. In the VIP lounge guests had the opportunity to conduct meetings in a more private space within the show floor and benefited from WIFI courtesy of Bolloré Logistics.
Bolloré Logistics offered guests complimentary specialty tea, coffee and champagne and food throughout the two-day event.
The Bolloré Logistics brand was advertised throughout the building. As providers of the complimentary WIFI and sponsors of the VIP lounge, our logo was broadcasted on all marketing materials including posters, banners, floor mats and more throughout the venue. Also, the Bolloré Logistics new aerospace campaign “People Powered Innovation” was featured on the back cover of the AP&M Event Guide.
The UK Aerospace, Commercial and Management teams as well as European Management attended the prestigious global aerospace MRO event. AP&M was initiated with a conference summit featuring renowned panels examining the following subjects: Global fleet forecasts, Maintenance Procurement Strategies, Growing influence of spare parts market, Lease management Lifecycle, Aftermarket activity, Additive Manufacturing and Big data.
The next two days included client meetings as well as “Meet the Buyers” discussions.
Meet the Buyers is a signature networking event, taking place in a dedicated area inside the main hall, allowing exhibitors to book face-to-face, 10-minute meetings with buyers from airlines, MROs, OEMs and leasing companies.
The buyers are purchasing personnel from airlines, MROs, OEMs and leasing companies covering a wide range of responsibilities including straightforward purchasing/procurement, supplier management, contract management, aircraft maintenance and planning, logistics, power plant/propulsion, inventory and material planning, quality and general engineering.
Over the course of the two days a number of meetings were held with existing clients as well as potential future prospects. Yet again the exhibition has proven to be a critical opportunity to gain new business for Bolloré Logistics globally. We look forward to presenting again next year, outside of the UK in AP&M Europe’s new location Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
Thank you to all who have helped make this exhibition a success for yet again!
“AP&M proved once more to be a very efficient way in profiling the Bolloré group and very worthy investment. In addition to scheduled meetings with current customers we also enjoyed some new prospective meetings with European carriers and UK established targets,” says Jim Berryman, Aerospace Director at Bolloré Logistics UK.
