Plastic Omnium Honors Bolloré Logistics with Best 3PL Award

Plastic Omnium - Auto Inergy Division (POAI) Asia honored Bolloré Logistics with the Best 3PL award in Asia during its POAI Asia suppliers Convention in Shanghai, held on April 11, 2018.

Mr. Christian KOPP, President & CEO Asia at POAI Division; Mr. Youssef SOUIBA, Asia Supply & Purchase Director at POAI; Mr. Jean François Corraze, Asia Supply Chain Manager at POAI, three representatives of POAI Asia’s management team, were present at the convention to prize Bolloré Logistics’ Asia-Pacific team.

Plastic Omnium Asia is extremely happy of awarding this prize to Bolloré Logistics’ Asia team with special mention to Bolloré Logistics Korea. This decision recognizes the added value scheme that was designed for POAI Korea facility - our most complex one in Asia - and that was executed flawlessly and jointly by our respective teams last year,” said Mr. Corraze, Supply Chain Manager at POAI. “It also shows our sincere thanks to the extreme high level of commitment and customer-service displayed by Bolloré Logistics’ Asia Top Management team towards POAI in 2017 and before. Last, it is further evidence that our strategic cooperation is effective as both companies strive to serve mutual interests in each of our discussions,” he adds.

POAI is the automotive world leader manufacturer in fuel tank system with 22% market share. They have 12 plants in Asia with their Regional office in Shanghai. Bolloré Logistics / POAI cooperation started in Wuhan / Shanghai - Central China in 2014 and extended to North China, Korea, Thailand, Japan and India. Today most flows are Air and Sea inbound (from Europe, US and Asia Pacific).

In South Korea, Bolloré Logistics has set up a value solution - buyer’s consolidation ex China, Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) warehouse in Korea, allowing POAI to decrease both their inventory level and their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) as well as to improve their reactivity.
