Bolloré Transport & Logistics Angola has been selected by Chemonics to actively take part to a specific educational program initiated by USAID (United States Agency for International Development), in order to provide ground experience to 35 trainees from the Angolan Health Ministry, currently studying supply chain management post graduate course.
Most of them being responsible for local hospitals closely working with the USAID to support their malaria and HIV programs across the country.
On October 13th 2019, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Angola had the honor to welcome the Angolan Health Ministry Technicians trainees coming from all over the country (18 provinces) in their Cacuaco premises in Luanda.
On this inspiring occasion and in addition to the ground team's testimony, Tunima CAHALO - Integrated Logistics Solutions Director at Bolloré Transport & Logistics Angola, took the opportunity to present the company's various global activities to the studious assembly.
Commenting the event, Ana EUSEBIO - Workforce Development Specialist at Chemonics Angola, said: "I want to thank you for the collaboration and hospitality of Bolloré Transport & Logistics team, the students and we (Professor and I) were very happy about all the experience. It was a great chance for them to get in touch with the real world and to reinforce their theorical knowledge with a ground approach."
Tunima CAHALO added: "It has been an excellent opportunity for Bolloré Transport & Logistics to share our supply chain knowledge and the daily challenges we are facing to make sure the commodities (medicines, equipment, etc.) reach final destination in safe and on timely conditions."
