Bolloré Logistics Handles PPE Donation for The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York

June 9th, 2020

In April, Bolloré Logistics New York (JFK) handled a shipment of PPE from China for The Mount Sinai Hospital, and as a contribution to the fight against COVID-19, offered this service free of charge.

The shipment from TPE to JFK airport consisted of 100 boxes of 5,000 protective gowns weighing a total of 1,140 kg.

Initially, Bolloré Logistics JFK was only handling the transportation part, but since Ula Maslinska, Key Account Coordinator, was doing an outstanding job with the follow-up, The Mount Sinai Hospital asked for them to handle the customs clearance as well.

The shipment arrived as planned and Ula received high praises from the company making the donation, Beautyfull Biotech: "Thank you all for your efforts to make this happen so quickly and easily in these challenging times. Your contributions are heartfelt and so appreciated. The day it was received they distributed the gowns the doctors and nurses in the ICU and ER to protect them and their families."
