Established in August 1983, Bolloré Logistics Singapore opened its first warehouse hub at Tanjong Pagar, dedicated to the Retail, and Perfumes & Cosmetics industry. The company then set sights on the Aerospace logistics, before diversifying its services to cater for the emerging Healthcare, Fragrances & Flavors, and Luxury-Retail industry.
With over 30 years of experience, Bolloré Logistics Singapore has grown to be a leading figure in offering global logistics solutions, warehouse and supply chain management services such as Regional Distribution Centers and Value-added Services (VAS). Services were also extended to other industries such Oil & Gas, High Tech, Fine Chemicals and Industrial Projects.
In terms of achievements in sustainability development, Bolloré Logistics Singapore opened the “Green Hub” - the first warehouse in Asia to be certified with Green Mark Platinum* and LEED Gold**, in 2013. It pioneered the use of hybrid shuttles for last mile delivery in Singapore and co-devised a revolutionary double stacking trucking solution, which bagged the prestigious Singapore Business Review (SBR) International Business Awards for Logistics, and the Supply Chain Asia (SCA) Supply Chain Transformation of the Year (Projects) award.
Bolloré Logistics Singapore unveiled a plan for a fully automated facility in 2017, as part of the company’s innovative solution to increase productivity and efficiency. The facility, which uses a combination of multi-shuttle system and picking technology, was successfully inaugurated in January 2018, and is the first of its kind to be deployed locally and across the region.
In recent years, Bolloré Logistics Singapore accentuated its commitment to provide innovative and cleaner supply chain solutions through the investment of new technologies like Internet-of-Things and Robotic Process Automation.
The next key milestone is the development of an innovation building - the ‘Blue Hub’. With state-of-the-art features, the building is aimed at providing a secure, sustainable, and staff-centric environment. The Blue Hub will be catered for customers across all industries, in particular, the Perfumes & Cosmetics industry. Development and construction of the hub has begun in early 2017, and is slated to complete in 2019.
Bolloré Logistics Singapore is a fully Integrated Management System (IMS) certified company (ISO 9001-14001-18001-13485), with several industry standard certification such as AS9120 (Aerospace), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) (Healthcare) and the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Level C under its belt. It is also one of the first transport and logistics companies in Singapore to be awarded Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV) Pharma certification by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
