Present since 1977, Bolloré Logistics Japan relies on 130 employees in four locations, namely: Fukuoka, Haneda, Osaka and Tokyo (Headquarters). Bolloré Logistics Japan was able to take a major step forward to complete its range of services in 2015 by opening its Haneda office located in the heart of the new international airport. Its customs license allows them to provide smooth end-to-end operations in major verticals such as Cosmetics, Fashion, Automotive or Food & Beverages -- both in and outbound.

The merger between previous brand names (SAGA and SDV) earlier in 2016 allowed them to further diversify their range of expertise; now relying on a team of over 25 experts in Industrial Projects. From infrastructure projects often resulting from Japanese Government ODA policy, to complex oil & gas projects with international conglomerates, Bolloré Logistics Japan aims at becoming one of the largest international players in this complex field.

To highlight a project, Bolloré Logistics Japan completed two shipments of LPG tank modules for the construction of cryogenic tanks by Japanese firm Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI). Also recently, Bolloré Logistics teams from Japan and South Africa participated in the Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum last 3-4 May 2018, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Bolloré Logistics Japan has been a strong supporter of the increasing interests of Japan Inc. towards Africa by supporting numerous events. The most visible one was the TICAD VI in Nairobi, Kenya, where the Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with two Japanese companies: NYK and Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

IATA, JAFA members, Bolloré Logistics Japan successfully completed its IMS certification (9001/14001/18001) in 2014. Additional certifications will be obtained to increase our expertise in 2018.
