In a highly evolving context of globalization of demand and logistics outsourcing, SDV will showcase its expertise dedicated to the international aerospace and defense industry sector (including aircraft and helicopter manufacturers, airlines and other operators, engine manufacturers, OEMs and MROs).
SDV’s expertise is based on a network of specialists in more than 100 countries with 1,200 professional people trained and specializing in techniques of the sector, spread amongst operational structures, and mobilized 24/7 to ensure the management of sensitive and urgent flows.
A network of platforms (Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, New York...) is located at all major hubs and close to airport maintenance areas. Under temperature controlled environments, approved for aviation standards; they are suited for storing and handling large volumes, as well as value-added operations (quality control, assembly, and packaging).
SDV recently reinforced its presence in Dubai by launching its new building located in the free zone of Dubai International Airport (DAFZA), a strategic logistics center, secured and subject to specific customs regulations.
It includes office space of 750 sqm and a warehouse representing a surface area of 2,500 sqm under a controlled temperature and humidity environment, with state-of-the-art fire protection systems, and 24/7 security guards along with CCTV.
With this new infrastructure SDV is able to better meet the requirements of its Aerospace industry customers and confirm its strategy to develop its ability to operate in Dubai, in the heart international trade crossroads.
