SDV Participates in the Breakbulk Europe Conference & Exhibition 2015

May 13th, 2015

From May 18-21, 2015, for the 8th consecutive year, SDV will be present as exhibitor at the next Breakbulk Conference in Antwerp, Belgium. This is a major event in Europe for companies involved in the shipping of heavy-lift, project cargo and traditional breakbulk cargoes. SDV booth n°722 will be located Hall 4.

SDV, an expert in Industrial Projects Logistics will showcase its tailor-made solutions in sectors such as energy, petrochemical and chemical, mining, construction and equipment and in various other industries.

Customers and suppliers will have the opportunity to meet SDV Industrial Projects and Oil & Gas teams coming from Africa, the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe.

This will also be the opportunity to share the latest information on our group where greater synergies, both commercially and operationally have been established between the regional projects divisions in Europe, Africa, Asia and the United States.

“In Europe, we have, over the past few years, strived to mirror the organization of our key project customers and markets by increasing our footprint throughout the continent." said Philippe Lejeune, Industrial projects Director in Europe. “The result of this can be seen today in terms of the dedicated industrial projects branches that we have in the majority of key countries”.

2013 saw the opening of SDV Norway, a key area in the Oil and Gas project sector.

2014 also saw the opening of a new project department in the Netherlands, a market with a substantial diversity of Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Construction activity. In 2014 SDV realized the creation of a fully owned SDV project Branch in Spain by acquiring TIBA Project Spain, a robust and well experienced organization with vast experience in Africa and South America.

“We will continue to expand our European Industrial Organization by investing in more resources in each of our Countries and by looking at any possible acquisition which will fit our European Industrial Project organization”, finally added Philippe Lejeune.

Our unique operational solutions meet stringent specifications requested by the major global players and the success of each project is supported, among other things, by this network of experts in Europe as well as all over the SDV network in the world.
