Alongside its partner Business France, SDV sponsored the France China Business Forum (Forum d’Affaires France Chine), the most important B2B event in 2015 between France and China. This forum was held on July 1st, 2015, in Paris, France, at the French ministry of Economy, Industry and Digital content, at the occasion of the official visit of Chinese Prime Minister Mr. Li Keqiang, in France.
Inaugurated by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, the Forum d'Affaires France-Chine was co-organized by Bank of China, Business France and Futurallia in an effort to stimulate exchanges between companies of these two countries, and thus multiply strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
After hearing the officials’ testimony to discuss France-China relationships and trade exchanges between the two countries, the B2B concept took place: a great opportunity for SDV to showcase its know-how in front of over 300 French and Chinese companies. Nearly 30 appointments in a private, one-on-one setting were held in form of speed-dating sessions for 45 minutes each.
Represented by its market managers in France and China, Gwennaelle Bailly and Stephane Lam, accompanied by Ling Jin (Corporate Aerospace Development Manager – China) and our Sales Department, SDV was the only transport and logistics player to showcase import and export operations logistics solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Beyond the business meetings, this event is crucial in terms of visibility and notoriety, amongst both companies and administrations, representing SDV on the Chinese market.
