July 13th, 2017

On July 6th, 2017, in Paris – France – was held the event to recognize the first HQE Sustainable Building Awards. In addition to presenting the results of the Observatories 2017, this event was the perfect opportunity for Certivéa* and Cerway* to reward the most remarkable operations certified in 2016 in terms of construction, renovation and operation.

Picture (left to right): Mr. Henri Le Gouis, CEO Europe at Bolloré Logistics; Mr. Philippe Maesen, CSR Manager/Sustainable Development at Bolloré Logistics; Ms. Anne-Sophie Perrissin-Fabert, Director Alliance HQE-GBC and Mr. Patrick Nossent, President of Certivea.

On the occasion of this very special evening, Bolloré Logistics had the honor to receive a double distinction in the Construction category for its Green Hub on the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport platform. This is all thanks to a unique logistics warehouse of 35,000 sqm and 7,500 sqm of commercial buildings displaying virtuous performances in the sustainable approach of the Group.

Those exemplary results had previously allowed Bolloré Logistics to obtain the "NF HQE Construction / Rénovation Bâtiments Tertiaires" certification in 2016 - issued by Certivéa - the first sustainable development certification in France for non-residential buildings.

Two prizes were awarded to Bolloré Logistics for its 7,500 sqm office building, the first in the office category and the second in the prestigious Global Performance category, all categories combined.

These prizes were awarded to operations certified in 2016 with the best performances in the realization phase. Those distinctions were based on the level of overall result obtained by comparing the results of 416 operations certified NF HQE Construction / Renovation by Certivea and 33 by Cerway.

For Bolloré Logistics Roissy, the Exceptional Level (Highest level) was achieved and the number of stars obtained on the themes Energy - Environment - Health and Comfort (from 0 to 4 stars maximum on each theme) was 14 stars, including 3 in Energy, 4 in Environment, 3 in Health and 4 in Comfort. This recognition confirms Bolloré Logistics' approach to investing in high-performance real estate.

"Our voluntarist approach to sustainable development is a cornerstone of our client partnership model. Our facilities with the latest technologies meet the highest standards of environmental and operational performance. We aim to reduce the overall environmental footprint of our activities, thus generating new areas of action such as biodiversity impact management," said Mr. Luc Monteil, Real Estate Director at Bolloré Logistics.

These new distinctions complement Roissy CDG's already rich track record, including its biosourced building labels, Biodivercity, Leed Gold... and numerous distinctions from professionals (Supply Chain Magazine, SIATI, etc.).

*CERTIVÉA, Service operator on the sustainable performance of non-residential buildings, accompanies by certification, the steps to improve the performance of players in the construction industry. CERWAY is the sole operator of the HQE global offer outside of France.
